If you are purchasing more than 5 gallons per year of Specially Denatured Alcohol (SDA) you are required to obtain a facility specific permit from the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB). 

This requirement is specifically for Specially Denatured Alcohol and not Completely Denatured Alcohol which can be obtained without a permit.

We recommend using Completely Denatured Alcohol to eliminate this permitting requirement.  If you have questions about this requirement or are planning to obtain a permit please contact REHS at (848) 445-2550.
