REHS
evaluates workplace conditions to assess the need for
respirators, provides training in the care, maintenance
and use of respirators, and conducts the necessary fit
testing of respirators. The Occupational Health Department
provides the medical evaluation and pulmonary function
testing that is prerequisite to respirator use.
